Skee Week
To fit with the organization's undergraduate service mission, Sigma Delta hosts a week of events every year that support our national goals and our local community. From financial literacy workshops to mental and physical wellness, we do it all, bringing accessible information to our fellow college students and communities.
Black Heritage Fashion Show
This award winning event has been a staple of our chapter's activities for over 16 years. Not only does it support the financial health of our chapter, but it allows us to partner with community businesses and students. This event features student artists and designers, local black owned businesses, and a clothing drive to support Eugene and Corvallis area shelters.
Pillow Case Project
To extend Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.'s global reach, the ladies of Sigma Delta creates dresses, pants, and shirts out of gently used, donated pillow cases. These articles of clothing are then donated to rural parts of Haiti to support young girls and boys who need clothing.
Shoe Drive
As Eugene has a large homeless population, our chapter wanted to enlist the community to provide what we could to those that are less fortunate. Through our shoe drive, we were able to collect and provide our local community with gently used shoes.
Lip SynK Battle
Our chapter likes to have fun too! This was an event to get to know our community better by providing a fun, low pressure atmosphere during finals week. By partnering with the BSU, we were able to enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and good vibes.
